My name is Colin Ju. I am a full time artist living in Singapore and China. After earning a degree in Interior Design in 2000, my father taught me to paint, and it changed my life. My favorite medium is oil paint and acrylic paint. Landscapes and abstracts are my first love but when I am at studio I paint anything from still-life to seascape. I never tire of watching the colors mix and mingle on the canvas. Rarely using brushes, I like to apply heavy layers of paint with palette knives and other tools. I like to listen light music when paint. It’s a fun and freeing way to work! When I am not making art, I like traveling, reading, enjoying wine with friends, and seeing movies.
